Earthminds

Earthmind Students

Broadcast: Friday 4pm

Earthminds is a youth-led, Nelson-based initiative that empowers rangatahi to tackle real-world environmental challenges with creativity and purpose. Over 16 weeks, 27 young people came together to explore six pressing issues, including water pollution from forestry, marine biodiversity restoration, food waste reduction, and fast fashion.

Working in teams, they researched, experimented, and developed innovative solutions – then turned their journey into powerful podcast episodes. Each episode dives into a specific challenge area, sharing the team’s discoveries, solutions, and a call to action for their community.

🎧 Listen to their stories below and be inspired by the next generation of environmental changemakers.
