Stephen Tanner hosts Drive Alive which is a new show on Fresh FM on Wednesday evening, helping you to drive better, safer, more alive, whatever you drive. Whether you've been behind the wheel for 50 years or 50 minutes, tips from our resident driving instructor Garry Dunn will improve your driving senses. There'll be great driving music and talk about our love hate relationship with cars too. Drive Alive airs every 2nd Wednesday Evening at 8.00 and replays Saturday morning at 3.00. Dunn's Training

I've been driving my whole adult life, firstly as a truck driver on the West Coast in the mining industry, then as a Traffic Cop and now as a Driving Instructor. Road safety is very important to me. I deliver courses for people to get their Learner Licence and am able to teach learners with no experience how to drive. I can give you a pre-test assessment to identify any gaps in your driving ability to help ensure you pass the Restricted or Full test. I also take experienced drivers for an assessment for employment purposes, as well as new New Zealanders for converting their overseas licence to a New Zealand licence. I conduct Defensive Driving Courses in Nelson and Takaka and deliver talks for Age Concern for elderly drivers in the Nelson and Tasman areas. Basically I have all areas of driver licencing for Class One covered. Contact me for further information or visit my website.
