Broadcast Complaints

Good Community Access radio by its very nature is challenging - that's part of Fresh FM's role in the media, representing the diverse views of the community across the Top of the South. At times however, these views may either intentionally or unintentionally offend a listener.

If you have heard something on Fresh FM that you personally wish to complain about, we welcome you to do so via the following process.

For a Formal Complaint, the process that must be followed begins with discussing the issue with the Station Manager [phone 03 546 9891] during office hours, or email This is laid down by the Broadcasting Standards Authority (BSA). The instructions for laying a formal complaint are listed on the BSA website in several languages.
